Profile:

When Jamie was 11, he was cast in the Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice hit musical Evita with Elaine Paige and David Essex. Instead of choosing to follow a glittering stage career however, a career in broadcasting beckoned and he hasn't looked back since.

He started off working for BBC Three Counties Radio demonstrating his considerable journalistic skill by hosting a daily three-hour all talk/news breakfast programme and has been a director and presenter of 'Spurs TV' which broadcast from the famous Tottenham Hotspur Football Club at White Hart Lane stadium.

While at Classic FM, Jamie has presented 'Opera in the Park' to 40,000 people at Temple Newsom in Leeds, and has hosted the record attempt to create the world’’s largest orchestra with Sir Simon Rattle at the magnificent Symphony Hall in Birmingham. He is the presenter of the Sainsbury’’s Classic FM Youth Orchestra series of concerts, and a regular contributor of reviews and articles to the Classic FM Magazine.

Jamie is a Londoner born and bred, though a chunk of his family come from Italy and half of his family live in Newcastle in the North East of England.

His current hobbies include singing, cycling, football, current affairs and (not surprisingly!) music
